The 2009 Revolution

2009 has been a truly amazing year in tech. It’s almost been overwhelming with all the product releases. This year we saw all the following release:
OS X Snow Leopard
Windows 7
iPhone 3GS
Droid
Bing
BlackBerry OS 5 (plus Tour, Curve, Bold 2, Storm 2)
27″ iMacs (sort of, they’re not working well)
Netbook saturation
Chrome OS
and much more!
I don’t think a lot of people realize how dramatically 2009 changed the entire landscape of technology. We’ve moved into a widely accepted mobile era of computing. Smartphones are now becoming a dominant player in both business and consumer markets. Services like Twitter, Facebook, and cloud computing are deeply integrated into our daily lives. Even Microsoft has finally released an OS to be truly proud of. This year changed a lot and I can’t wait to see how we further adapt it in 2010.
