It looks like it’s finally time for us to move. As gas prices climb ever higher we are finding ourselves more and more strapped. My wife drives around 80 miles a day for work and the cost has already reached around $350 a month in fuel cost. Hopefully we can find something close to her work with similar space and maybe even lower rent. Gas is expected to reach $5.00+ the summer and we need to move before that happens. Now we just need to pull some money out of our asses to make it happen. Of course if I had the ability to crap cash moving would be the least of our problems. Of how I hate the entire process of moving. There’s hundreds of items to pack, finding a place, application costs, deposits, hauling crap, unpacking, readjustment and more to this nightmare. I have moved many many times and each time it only gets worse. I pray for spontaneous migration.

I can’t even afford to drive. I could get lessons, buy a cheap car but I’d end up having to pay $2k in insurance, and even after than I’d never be able to pay for gas lol .. And then you have things like congestion charge and Nazi traffic wardens.
I always liked moving, though I think that’s down to moving from a crap hole to a lesser crap hole lol .. Government housing is not good.
The thing about moving is no matter how much you plan and how my time you have you always go wrong somewhere and its a last minute rush.

I hate moving. I like the change.. Kind of redundant, I guess. We moved to this house, (where I’m at) over 6 years ago and we STILL have some boxes we never unpacked.. Not to mention the pain it is to round up people willing to help.

I don’t mind moving to a new area, in fact I love that part. I’m incredibly restless by nature. What I hate is the physical moving part and the money involved. If I could afford a moving company I would be thrilled but as it stands now I’ll be lucky to afford packing tape :P
