Firefox World Record

Firefox has been my browser of choice for quite a while now (since version 1) and it only keeps getting better. Firefox 3 betas have been impressive to say the least. With Release Candidate 1 out now it won’t be too long before Firefox 3.0 is officially released. In an attempt to help spread the word and get even more people hooked on this incredible browser, Spread Firefox is looking to set a world record. On release day they are working to have Firefox 3 be the most downloaded software within 24 hours. You can see more information at their site. The release date hasn’t been announced yet but they’re asking for “pledges” to download. By filling out the pledge form (country and email address) you will be notified when the final release happens. This could be huge for Firefox (and maybe even do some damage to Internet Explorer’s market share)!
