All, Life, Musings, Older, Video

As we get closer and closer to the arrival of our daughter I find myself remembering the youngest days of my son’s life. Nothing could have prepared me for the monumental effect he would have on me. I made a photo sideshow last year and while doing some reminiscing today, came across it again. The video is set to the song Still Fighting It by Ben Folds. The lyrics reflected a lot of what was going through my mind the moment I saw my son. My favorite line is, “and your so much like me, I’m sorry”

And soon there will be a daughter as well…
