Soon The Sleep Will End

We have been excited and planning for this event in so many ways. The nursery has been converted to hues of pink and green with flowers a-plenty. The baby toys have been cleaned and gathered. The mountains of girly outfits have been washed, folded and organized for her coming. Now the only thing left to prepare are our souls and stamina.

Our son is excited, though somewhat confused in meaning, to be our little helper and a big brother. He has an idea that someone is coming, that we call her Emma and Sister, but not exactly sure what that means. We are getting prepared for the usual sibling rivalry and have been giving him extra attention. I think he’ll make a great big brother and will quickly warm to the idea.

I haven’t posted much on here in the past couple months due to hectic schedules. I plan to make it a point to post as often as possible from now on and share the experience with all. I went from Harley’s to Huggies over the past few years and adding another child to the mix should be even more bizarre and fun. Stay tuned, it could get interesting.
